Code of Conduct
(a) Registered Individuals shall at all times conduct themselves in a manner that reflects favourably on Badminton, fellow Members and the Bundaberg Badminton Club. Failure to do so will render the Registered Individual liable to disciplinary action under these Regulations.
(b) All Registered Individuals shall conduct themselves in a manner that is free from any anti-social behaviour which prevents others from taking part in the Company's activities. The Company strongly endorses the principle that every person (be they a spectator, player, club member, official, participant, administrator, coach, parent or member of the community) involved with Badminton should work to ensure:
- (i) inclusion of every person regardless of their age, gender or sexual orientation;
- (ii) inclusion of every person regardless of their race, culture or religion;
- (iii) opportunities for people of all abilities to participate in the sport and develop to their full potential;
- (iv) respect is shown towards others, their club and the broader community;
- (v) a safe and inclusive environment for all;
- (vi) elimination of violent and abusive behaviour; and
- (vii) protection from sexual harassment or intimidation.
Registered Individuals that fail to meet these standards may be subject to action by the Company.
Photography/Videography
I understand that Bundaberg Badminton Club may use my, or my child or ward’s photographic image and /or voice and/or word (all known as ‘digital resource’) for publicity and promotional purposes in all forms of media including without limitation on TV, radio, press, magazine, outdoor, direct mail, PR, posters, corporate video, cinema, Internet (worldwide) subscription, and literature, and assign any and all rights, title and interest in the digital resource to which I or my child or ward may be entitled in law, to Bundaberg Badminton Club, and agree to make no claim for compensation for the use of the resources including digital resources.
Privacy Disclosure Statement and Member Consent
The Bundaberg Badminton Club is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information you provide to us. We need to collect the personal information requested on this form to enable us to process your membership application and provide you with a range of membership services. If you do not provide us with information in this this form or any additional information we request, we may not be able to process your application or provide you with membership services.
We may disclose the personal information we collect on this form and any additional information that you provide to us in connection with this application to our relevant officials, and committee members involved in delivering our services. When other members of the Club make enquiries, Club officials may provide them your name, telephone number(s) and/or your email address.
Club officials will at any time provide access to you to verify the personal information we hold, and where necessary, correct any errors in this information.
By completing and returning this application form and /or providing us with any additional information in connection with your application, you agree to us using and disclosing your information as set above. By providing your email address you consent to receiving electronic correspondence from the Club.
This consent to use and disclosure of your personal information remain valid unless you alter or revoke it by giving written notice to the Club.
Changes to Your Personal Information
In order for the Club to provide you with membership services, we need your current contact information. If you change your name, postal address, telephone, or email address at any time, we ask that you email the club with these changes to bundabergbc@gmail.com
Participation & Liability
I understand that participation in Bundaberg Badminton Club activities involves the risk of injury and/or loss and damage to my property and that I participate in Bundaberg Badminton Club activities at my own risk.
Bundaberg Badminton Club, its officials, committee members, volunteers or agents are not liable for any personal injury, loss or damage of property or expenses, including medical expenses, which I or my child or ward may suffer at the Club and/or as a result of a Bundaberg Badminton Club activity.
Applicant Declaration and Acceptance
I agree, to abide by the club’s rules and regulations that may be adopted by the club from time to time. I hereby acknowledge and accept the upon the cessation of my club membership for any reason whatsoever, that I shall not be entitled to any refund (in whole or in part) of my membership subscription.
I agree to pay in full the applicable membership subscription fee, irrelevant if I chose to leave the club during the term of current season.
